Start up a business?
Become self-employed?DO YOU NEED... Strategic support to evaluate the feasibility of your project, identify your financial needs and help prepare your business plan? The Entrepreneurship Centre will help you validate the feasibility of your project, calculate the financing required and evaluate the chances for success. We will also help you prepare your business plan to make a case for your project with banks and to establish objectives for the first years of operations. Financial support to help you obtain possible grants as well as bank loans to get you started? We are well connected to local financial institutions. The staff have practical experience in banking and knowledge of the requirements set by financial institutions. They can help you prepare for negotiations with banks. Through the CLD, the Centre can also offer non-guaranteed financing for up to $50,000 for your business start up, grants of up to $10,000 for young entrepreneurs, and salary assistance for those unemployed.

The Centre has an experienced team of counsellors and outside experts to discuss your project and help you profit from new opportunities. The Centre hosts several business networks to encourage entrepreneurs to meet. Participants exchange contacts and discuss their experiences. The West-Island Entrepreneurship Center is there for you!
